KENTUCKY PERCEFULLS
Posted by: Bluegrass (ID *****6243) Date: August 07, 2003 at 10:35:49

Background: My father's grandfather, James Chenoweth PERCEFULL (b. 1838 in Hardin County KY) m. Elizabeth "Betty" LEE. James C Chenoweth was the son of William Oscar PERCEFULL and Mariah Jane CHENOWETH. The father of William O PERCEFULL was Samuel PERCIVALL b. 1749 (note change in spelling) of Swanlow Village, Saint Chad, Over Parish, Cheshire County, England, and Nancy BRUCE. Next generation back: Samuel PERCIVAL (Sr.) b. 1720 d. 1788 in Over Parish, Cheshire County England. m. Mary Tailor - this Samuel's father was Jonathan PERCIVAL of Manchester, Lancashire County, England, b. 1680, d. in Cheshire County in 1733, m. Mary Hatton.
Request: James Chenoweth PERCEFULL and 'Betty' LEE PERCEFULL of Hardin County KY had thirteen children. Although I have old photos of some of these children, I do not have a photograph of my grandmother, Relleigh Jane PERCEFULL who married Samuel HORN. If any of the Kentucky kinfolk have any Percefull photos they could send me (scan?) I would be very happy to have them - I also lack photos of my Uncle Morris and Uncle Clarence PERCEFULL.
I am compiling a folder of ancestor photographs and would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks!
