It appears that this Thomas was married twice, both were named Sarah. The first marriage took place abt 1828 in Virginia. The resulting children were Mary b:abt 1830, William b:23 July 1831, and John b:23 December 1833. Apparently Sarah died about 1839/40 and Thomas remarried to Sarah Glidewell on 01 December 1840 in Madison County, TN. The children from this marriage were Nancy b:1844, John Thomas b:1850, and Albert b: 1857.
A close review of the 1880 census data shows "Sallie Percifull" age 63 as head of household with Albert age 23, Nannie age 3, and Thomas age 77 listed as "other". "Nannie" is probably Albert's daughter Nancy. It appears that this Sallie is not Thomas's wife nor Albert's mother else they would be shown as husband and son on the census.
If you sort this out further, please let me know.
I have posted our lines on my website, www.percefull.us .
