I would like very much to see the family information regarding Dr. Samuel Percival of Columbia, S. C. I know that he served in the Palmetto Regiment, 1846-47, and owned factories in Columbia in 1853. A Samuel Percival, perhaps his father, was a founder of Trinity Episcopal Church, Columiba, in 1812. I am keenly interested in knowing if his family history in S. C. goes back to the 17th century.
