Hello Julie
thanks for the message on the genforum board. I'm sorry that I have taken so long to reply but I only picked up the message today. I am supposed to be informed every time someone leaves me a message but obviously was not!

In reply to the information that you left on the website:
A few days ago I received a message from a lady in Canada with an offer of family info on Percivals that were living in Sedgley at the time of my Ann Percival. In this information there was a section on a John Percival born circa 1796 who married a Hannah ( surname unknown).I don't know if they married in Tipton Staffs because all of their children seem to be christened there.
Joseph 26/5/1822
Noah 27/3/1825
Elisa 2/12/1827
Enoch 7/12/1828
Emma 1/8/1830
Hannah 3/7/1836.

John Percival was the son of William and Hannah Parkes. William was baptised on 2/2/1766 and died on 25/1/1849. He was married to Hannah on 24/12/1789 at St Peters Wolverhampton.

I believe that my Ann ties into this family descended through William 1766 but as yet cannot form the missing link. Anns father was James Percival and her mother Sarah. Your John had a younger brother James Solomon Percival and I believe that he may well have been her father.

kind regards
jayne
