George Perkins, 22 March 1754, Liberty Co, SC,(Rev.War)>IA
George Perkins was a Revolutionary War soldier whose name appears on the Iowa Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (IASSAR) monument which appears south of the Iowa State Capitol building in Des Moines, Iowa.
George was born 22 March 1754 in Liberty County, South Carolina. He served as a private in the militias for both the North and Carolinia lines.
George moved to Iowa in April 1840 and died on about November 1840 in or near Lee County, Iowa.
The IASSAR is seeking all his genealogy/descendants to the present. I can be contacted at: Michael K. Mulford, President IASSAR, [email protected] and I thank you for your assistance.
Michael
