Holly Hofmann--I believe that the Jess Perkins listed under Prior L. Perkins is my husbands grandfather.I have a picture of his tombstone taken in 1981 in Combs, Ar. It reads Jess N. Perkins, April 10, 1894, died June 24, 1956.He was married first to a Mary Van Brunt, don't know any specific dates. She died after my father-in-law was born. His name is Claude D. Perkins born Sept. 19, 1917 and he died in Feb. 1986.He had a brother that I know of, his name was Charles C. Perkins, born Dec. 14, 1919, died Oct. 30, 1957.As far as I know, Charles had no children.Do you know or have information where this family of Prior L. Perkins originated from.My kids are wanting to know where their Perkins ancestors first came from and when.
We have been to Arkansas and met Lydia Perkins in 1981, and her son Orval Perkins, and there were a bunch more, but I met so many I don't remember all their names.
