I have been looking at the Perkins families in the area of London, Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada, c1820 - 1840. Several names are connected: Land petitions: Nelson Perkins who was located in London Township 1825; Charles Perkins who "emigrated from Quebec 1818", Hiram Perkins located in London Township 1822. Also the marriages of Abigail Perkins to David Niles 9 Feb. 1830 St. Paul's Anglican Church, London, witnesses Melinda Perkins (wife of Nelson Perkins) and Lorinda Perkins marriage to Benjamin Niles 17 Nov. 1830, bride given away by Nelson Perkins.
Nelson Perkins above married Melinda Carroll 25 Jul 1827. There are more records in the London area concerning these Perkins. Hiram went to Lapeer Co., Mich., by 1840. He had a son Nelson. There was another Nelson Perkins who married Harriet Senney in London Township 03 Aug 1846. He may be the son of Nelson above by a first wife. In any event, this Nelson and wife Harriet are involved in land transactions in Lapeer County, 1848 - 1849. There are more connections both in London, Ontario, and Lapeer County, Michigan.
I have seen various submissions of some of these family members but all omit Nelson. If anyone is working on this family I would like to hear from you.
