Many of the Parman's spelled their last name as "Perman" in the early census tables. Does your Edward A. Perman show a state of birth in the census tables?

A considerable segment of the "Parman's" in the U.S. descend from Giles Parman (1758-1832), a patriot who migrated from PA to TN then KY where he died in Knox County. His children and grandchildren spread all over MO, AR and even OR and CA. Giles' last name is spelled as "Perman" in some of the early 1800's TN and KY census tables. I will be glad to help you. Get back to me.

God bless our troops, Dave Parman.
