I have very little knowledge of my father's origins. He was a very private person - even to his children. My father, Frederic Perman (there is no 'k' at the end of his first name) was born on 8th June 1905. I do not know where, save for the fact that his childhood was spent around Watford in the UK and some north London suburbs. He had a brother, Henry, who died in the 1930's of TB. He moved to Birmingham UK in the late 1920's. He served in the Royal Berkshire Regiment. I have no knowledge of his birthplace or his early years, it would seem his life began in the middle to late 1920's! If this information is useful to anybody, please get back to me - I'm still digging.
