Dear Cynthia, I found a John M. Permar who was born in Part Marion in 1870, but I have no other information about him. Perhaps that may have been Robert's grandfather.
Although I have several Robert Permars with a variety of middle names, I could find none that had a David as father.
What is your mother's name? Do you have a middle name and birthdate for your stepfather? My husband's grandfather was Wesley Clark Permar born 1871 in Pittsburgh, PA & died 1946 in Steubenville, OH.

Looking forward to building a family tree with you! Contact me directly via
