Joseph E. Perrault and Madeleine Villebrun
were native americans, born in Minnesota.

According to the 1880 census, at White Earth Reservation, Polk Co., MN,
J.E. Perrault, policeman and farmer, born 1843 MN;
Madeline, b. 1846 MN;
Antoine, b. 1864 MN;
Peter, b. 1866 MN;
Leander, b. 1868 MN;
Roman, b. 1870 MN;
Seraphine, b. 1874 MN (female);
Edward, b. 1874 MN;
Julian, b. 1877 MN;
and Madeline, b. 1879 MN (female);

They were enlisted in 1900 census, in the same place.
