Mervyn, sorry for the delay in replying but have great difficulty with this web site! Cannot find a definite connection to Perreau brothers who were hanged at Tyburn, but one of Robert Britton Perreau's sons was called Charles born about 1761. Don't know anything else about him but he could be a potential father to your John Perreau b abt 1786.
