Firman Perrigan b. bet. 1818-1827 is found in 1850, 1860, 1870 Russell Co., Va. census. Death records indicate his wife is Jane Trent d/o Thomas Trent. In the 1850 census Firman states his place of birth is Washington Co., Va. Known children are;
Thomas b. 04/28/1849 Glade Hollow, Russell Co., Va, d. 02/17/1936 Dickenson Co., Va.
md. 05/17/1868 Guest Station (now Coeburn) Wise Co., Va. to Rebecca Rose d/o John Mac Rose and Martha Hibbits; Caroline or Catherine E. b. 1859 Va.; Martha b. 1862 Va., and Robert b. 1867 Russell Co., Va.
Thomas and Rebecca Rose Perrigans know children are;
