My name is Jennifer Steelman(Bero). I am a great grandaughter of Pearl Demetris(Stanley)who was gd/o Thomas C. Parrigan who was s/o Furman Parrigan. I have a family tree started on I am looking for any information on Furman Parrigan b. 1818, such as who his parents are and if he had siblings. The information I have so far says that there was a Jane Parrigan b. 1798 that may be his mother and there lists a possible sister, Susan Thomas. Records are indicating that this Jane lived with daughter Susan and her husband Isaac Thomas until the ripe old age of 95. I am assuming that Parrigan is this Jane's married name but I suppose it could be her surname if she was never married. I have also found some information on a Joab or Job Parrigan b. abt 1765 who could be this Jane's father or father in law. Also, I was able to find that Job had a son named Henry who could be this Jane's brother. Henry married Elizabeth Booher in 1821. Could there be any connections to be made through Henry Parrigan or any possible siblings? Also, records indicate that Firman had many children who may have known their grandparents and passed the info through the ages. Furman married Jane Trent (1826-1888) and their children were Thomas C. Parrigan b.1849, Caroline E. Parrigan b. 1859, Martha E. Parrigan b. 1862, and Robert Parrigan b. 1865. I am hoping to finally be able to understand Furman's parentage.
