Glad this was of use. I also came across the name of Stephen Perigo on the list of Freemen of Pownal for 1773, along with John. I have never found any other reference to a Stephen anywhere else in this time period. James & David Perrigo are on the list of inhabitants for 1766 and both are known to still be in Pownal in 1773. I have to wonder if the name Stephen was an error of the recording clerk and should have instead been David or James.
