You will find quite a few Walter Perrott entries in the UK's Office for National Statistics (ONS) birth index which is being transcribed and is freely available at the Freebmd site

There is no Walter Douglas Perrott but do not let that worry you too much. Quite a few births are registered with only one forename but then the child is christened and given two forenames.

I am connected to Perrots in the UK in the Gloucestershire (GLS) village of Beverstone circa 1790.

Best of luck
