Kathy,

You will find quite a few Walter Perrott entries in the UK's Office for National Statistics (ONS) birth index which is being transcribed and is freely available at the Freebmd site http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl

There is no Walter Douglas Perrott but do not let that worry you too much. Quite a few births are registered with only one forename but then the child is christened and given two forenames.

I am connected to Perrots in the UK in the Gloucestershire (GLS) village of Beverstone circa 1790.

Best of luck

Geoff
