I have a little information on this family because there might be a tie with my Weeks line. The book "A Place in Time" lists Richard as the only child (I re-checked and it does not state oldest son) of Richard and Margaret. However, a book I saw on the Taylor family states:
"Margaret died 30 Jan 1687 - children: Eliazabeth, born 1645, prob. in Barbadoes or Lancaster Co., VA; Richard Jr., b. 24 Feb 1650 (Christ Church Records) m. 11 Feb 1672, Sarah Curtis Halfhide (b. 16 Aug 1657, Ware Parish, Gloster Co., dau. Major Thomas Curtis and Averilla Curtis."
Children of Richard and Sarah - "Henry, b. 1657; Ffrank, b. 28 Aug 1677 (book states to note spelling of name); Sarah, b. 21 Sept 1679; Richard, b. 5 Oct 1681; Averilla, b. 3 Aug 1683; Robert, b. 25 Oct 1685; Curtis, b. 19 Aug 1688; Mary, b. 19 Jn 1690. All children's birth records are taken from Christ Church records in the Parish Book Register of Middlesex Co., VA, pp 41-2)"
No death date listed here for Richard, Jr.
