Ann,

Just saw your posting as I was searching for the possible marriage of a St. Leger Codd to a daughter of Richard Perrott. Codd married the daughter of Richard Bennett as his second wife, relict of Theodorick Bland and third to the relict of Joseph Weeks of Kent Island, MD.

Anyway, in answer to your question re: Weeks/Perrott relationship. Francis Weeks was the only son of Abraham Weeks and his wife Millicent Lidford of Lancaster and Middlesex. Francis Weeks married Elizabeth Hobbs and they had 5 chn in Middlesex VA. One of the sons was named Hobbs Weeks and he married Mary Perrott 16 Sept. 1708 at Christs Church in Middlesex.

They had 7 chn and it gets real complicated but the family moved back to England ca. 1717. Mary Perrott was supposedly the d/o Richard Jr. and Sarah Curtis, though I don't know that for sure.

Hope this answers your question. Some believe that a daughter of Hobbs and Mary, Martha, married a John Holland in Goochland Co., VA in 1735. There was in fact a marriage bet. the two parties in 1735 according to the Douglas Register but I doubt that Martha was the daughter of Hobbs and Mary. Who this Martha was is still a mystery.

Walter Weeks
