Thank you, Emily for the prompt answer. It cleared up some wrong ideas, I had . I can write some additional info, you might like on these people. The 1850 Census of Ebenezer Byram is correct - Matilda is his third Wife and the baby is hers, but the two older ones are from his second marriage 1828 to the widow Martha Jenkins-Judge. She very likly died in the 1840s. She is my husband's GG grandmother. Martha was born in Granville co NC 1790 daughter of Elias Jenkins and Sallie Taylor. She marr. 1811 James Judge Jr. They had 3 children : Fletcher Taylor, Mary Ann znd James Judge. Theyoung husband died about 1816 and she went with her children to Alabama, Where she later marr Ebenezer B. and had 3 more children .
Of course there is a lot more on the Jenkins,Taylors etc and also on Martha's Judge-children. And I don't mind sharing.
Again Thank you!Eva Judge
