Dear Jeff,

The information I found was from I was able to find Mary Ann Wallace and, as you may know, if the information is there, by clicking on the name for the father or mother will take you back as far as they have records. I was able to find her parents and grandparents back to the 1500's. It might be worth a try and there is no charge to use the website. You might have to try a more recent ancestor is you know who they might be.

Also, a website which is free to use but requires payment for printing any records you may find is called Scotland's people. No charge to register. Payment is calculated in pounds.

You can consult a geneaologist on Scotland's people. Not sure if there is a charge.

I will be sure to keep you informed of whatever information I find and hope you will let me know if you find anything as well.

Thank you for writing.

Best regards,
