After Eli Holden's death, 1 June 1842, his children and their spouses:
Laura & Esek Howland; Armida & Joseph Drury; Hannah & Timothy Cross; Mandana and Hiram Fisk; Martha & Enos Town; Seneca & Amanda Sylvester quit claimed to their brothers, Ira and Lyman, their shares of Eli's estate.
Eli's daughter Philena (wife of Humphrey Holt) died a couple of months before her father, and her six children inherited her portion. Humphrey was granted guardianship to sell the property on behalf of the children to Ira Holden in Dec 1842.
Eli's son Lyman m 1843, Serepta C Davis, and living with them on the 1850 and 1860 censuses was Serepta D. Holden, the assumed widow of Eli, and assumed mother of Serepta C.
