My family came from County Galway, Ireland.
I do have a lots of records of the PERSSE
FAMILY which came to Ireland from France
and England and displaced the native Irish.
The PERSSE family did give much to the Irish
like Lady Gregory whose maiden name was
PERSSE and she founded the Abbey Theater in
Dublin and financed many of many of Irelands
writers, poets, and artists. Most have gone
to Pacific islands like Australia.
Please keep in touch and tell me more about
your family and I will give you a lot about
our Irish cousins back to 1500's.
We receive messages from PERSSE FAMILY in
New Zealand and Australia every week. I do
not know the name PRESSE but we do know that
there are many times where there are spelling
changes in surnames.
Sincerely yours, Charlotte
