I am very distantly related to the
Alice Fox who married William Persse. I can add no info
regarding her ancestry - my knowledge from my Grandfather's
research goes no further back than Charles Fox of Foxhall,
Longford. My link is via her daughter Jane who married the
Rev Michael Gillway. Their daughter (Jane) married into the
Downer family of whom I have loads of detail. You may not
know that William Persse had a brother Henry and seven
sisters. If this sort of stuff is of interest, let me know.
