There were Perthuis in the Illinois Country by 1740-50, probably sons of Pierre Perthuis and Catherine Mallet. A daughter of theirs, Angelique, lived at Kas and was married to Louis Chauvin (that would be my line). Perthuis moved further south and I have not been able to separate and put in order who might have belonged in which family group. It is one of my "things to do" when the world slows down!
I assume your interest is Angelique, dau of Vital Caron, she being the first wife of Pierre dit LaJanvry Perthuis. Their son, Pierre, was married at Vincennes. Where he travelled off to is not clear to me at this time.
