Apparently the family had lived in Mason, Custer, Nebraska: 1940 Sauvies Island, Multnomah, Oregon Living on a farm on Gillihan Loop Road P. H. Petersen 42, born about 1898 in Nebraska, occupation farming Lillian Petersen 33, born about 1907 in Nebraska Stanley Petersen 15, born about 1925 in Nebraska Hoyd Petersen 12, born about 1928 in Nebraska Richard Petersen 11, born about 1929 in Nebraska Ivan Petersen 9, born about 1931 in Nebraska - twins Iris Ann Petersen 9, born about 1931 in Nebraska - twins Phyllis Petersen 3, born about 1937 in Nebraska Residence in 1935: Mason, Custer, Nebraska (a question on the 1940 census) ------------------------------------------------------ Next step is to use this information in the 1940 census to search on the Family Search website.
