(John) Syre, uncle to many nieces and nephews. World War II Veteran Army 91st Infantry Division 292 Battalion Staff Sgt. Fought bravely in the Battle of the Bulge. European combat from December 1944 - May 1945. Member of River Grove VFW #5979 and American Legion #1231. A great man who left a legacy of love. Resting at Belmont Funeral Home, 7120 W. Belmont Ave., Tuesday, 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, June 3, at 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass 9:30 a.m. Saint Cyprian Church. Interment Mt. Emblem Cemetery. Arrangements made by Lewis Funeral Home.

My mom, Myrtle Veronica Reinhart nee Schuller (1921-2008), was related to his wife Mary Wisemiller. I have researched the Wisemiller, Dupuis and Moisan family history. Most of the information is posted at the various surname forums at this website.
