Stephen,

The button that you have is from the defense case of Pfc. Howard Petrick who was stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas in 1966-8. He spoke out against the war in Vietnam and was threatened with a court martial by the Army brass. The button and a pamphlet were produced to raise money and publicize the case.
