Hello Michael,

I am doing some research for a Petrone Family. the family I am doing the ressearch for just contacted an uncle of theirs, named Frank Petrone. He lives in Bronx, NY now. I alos located 2 Frank Petrones that POW's an have received the Purple Heart medal of Honor. Frank Petrone's family was from Piaggine, Italy. Have you tried to locate your Francesco through Ellis Island. Org?? In any case maybe this helps. Good luck
