Steve:

My name is Kerrie Rives and I currently live in Maryland. My mother is Maryangela Petronio. My grandfather was John Thomas Petronio (He lived in Utica/New Hartford all his life) and his father Tomasso Petronio came to the United states from the village of Ausonia in 1904. He came with his son Desiderio (Frank I always knew him by) and his wife Mariangela Salerno Petronio. I can not read Italian but I do have the original papers from when they left Ausonia. I have been searching my family history for a while and have gotten no where I have no idea why they came or what they did before they got here. If you have any information that you could share I would appreciate it.

I look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you.
