Emma Petterson b/ June 13,1872 Smedjebackin, Sweden d/ May 4, 1944 in Corona, Long Island. She came to America around 1890. M/ Martin Hanson July 16, 1892. He was a tailor in New York City and Emma worked as an upstairs maid for a wealthy family in Larchmont, New York. They had six children, Arthur, Edith, Alva, Frank, George (my g/father) and Ethel.
Emma had three sisters, Ida Carlson, (son Carl Jr. daughter Violet (Lilly), Gerda Petterson,(daughters Svea and Edith) Freda Swanson (daughter Doris)and a brother in Sweden, Evald. Thank you for any help finding her parents names or any information on this family. George Hanson
