Judy . you have excelled yourself and I do not even know you.
We had part of the book called Bersmansgarden Vasby in Swedish, which I translated by used Swedish keyboard on computer and a computer translation program, and this gave us a lot of history of the family.
My great grandfather brought out some of his brothers and also some tradesmen from his area to build his house at Westby, in Victoria, Australia, when he selected land in the 1880's. It had a tower for watching his land and must have looked strange sitting in the back of nowhere those days.Australian architecture was very basic especially in country areas. I have a photo of it on my wall. It was burned down in the 1920's but a Westblade still lives on the small piece of the original selction that is now left. Lars left an illegitimate daughter in Sweden, and she lived at Vasby for a time, and I have been lucky enough to find her g/granddaughter in Washington USA.r
