Kontakta Emigrantregistret i Karlstad Source: Household Examination Roll, p. 153 Emibas migration file ID: Bjurtjärn S 1868 032 I looked at the source page using Genline, a fee-based site. http://www.genline.com This is the specific Genline page. GID # 464.40.41400 On this page, the above people were listed, plus: step daughter Emma Sofia Pettersdotter (She was the daughter of Peter Larsson, you said, so she was Peter's daughter and not the daughter of a Lars.), born 28 June 1851, moved to page 81 in 1867 (ditto for step???) son Peter Gustaf Pettersson, born 5 November 1855, moved to page 81 in 1868. All of that family were born in Bjurtkärn??? I wonder if that is an old spelling of Bjurtjärn parish. Page 81 is on this Genline page. GID # 464.40.34700 Peter Gustaf Pettersson is listed as a foster son and Emma Sofia Pettersdotter is listed as a piga (maid) on this page. Several lines up I see the widowed mother (but whose mother? Perhaps she is connected to the family at the top of the page, but I don't have time to type their names and check on them. All of those were from Bjurtkärn, wherever that might be.) Stina Larsdotter, born 6 February 1802 in Bjurtkärn, followed by Brother? (and something else) Peter Linnarsson, born 20 January 1845 in Bjurtkärn. At any rate, this Peter Gustaf Petersson died 4 February 1869 (NOT 1969). Emma Sofia Pettersdotter went to North America 25? April 1869, certificate number 24. Emibas CD: Post 733656 Pettersdotter, Emma Sofia Piga = maid. (unmarried woman) b. 6/28/1851 Emigrated 4/23/1869 from Kväggestorp, Bjurtjärn, Värmlands län (Värmland) to Nordamerika 0471869030 - Bilaga/ytterligare information finns. Emihamn was made from registrations with Swedish port police before leaving Sweden. (Not all Swedes left through a Swedish port.) The others left one year too soon but here is Emma.
