Rosalie,

I found your post about Robert Petticrew on belfastforum, but couldn't reply to it there. You said:

"Looking for Robert Petticrew born ca. 1853 Carncoagh (townland near Broughshane). He trained as a Medical Practitioner, in 1908 was living Dewsbury, Yorkshire.
What I don't know is when he moved from Northern Ireland to England. He did marry and had three sons. "

I wanted to pass along this info I found:
http://www.vyger.fsnet.co.uk/Surgeoner/Imigration/imigration.html
Robert Petticrew Surgeoner, b. Ballymena, N. Ireland, emigrated to Canada from Ireland bef 1910.

This website is extinct now, so I can't verify the info. I thought Surgeoner meant Robert was a doctor, but it may instead be his surname.

Sometimes emigrants to Canada and America returned to Ireland, or to England, so I thought this might give you a lead to follow.

I have collected additional info about the Carncoagh Petticrews. If it might help you, I can post that too.

Bev
