I live in Surrey but my family as far as I can tell comes from a village called Potterspury in Northampton. My grandfather (now in his late 80's) has told me that there is a family crest, although I have never seen it, he has described it as being a shield with a red diagonal stripe and 3 clenched gold fists. I any one can locate this I would be very interested !
