In response to your inquiry re: Ann and Martin Phillips - they are mentioned on page 6 of Mrs. Stacy's book "The Pettus Family."
Pocahontas Stacy cites the following: "Unquestionably Ann, Martin Phillip's wife was daughter of Dabney Pettus, who was son of Capt. Thomas Pettus and wife Elizabeth Dabney..." Dabney's children were John, Thomas and Ann.
