Yes, I am a distant descendant through my mother's side.

Anne Pettus (b. 11/29/1738 New Kent Colony VA) m. Rev. James Shelburne.
Anne was d/o Thomas Pettus and Amey Walker. She had also been called
"Virginia" Anne/Ann Pettus, but I have found no evidence of that given name.

Anne and Rev. James were the parents of Samuel Shelburne who wed Sarah/Sally
Pamplin. They had a daughter: Sally Shelburne (aka Sallie/Sarah B./Blagrave/Blackgrove
Shelburne/Shelburn)

Sally married James Redford and they had a daughter: Ruth Adaline Redford. Ruth married
Dew/Due Rogers/Roger Oliver, and they had a daughter: Harriett Ellen Oliver.

Harriett Oliver married John Franklin Wisenbaker of Valdosta GA and they moved their family
by train to Texas. Their daughter, Ella Adeline Wisenbaker, married William Jesse
Galbreath, and they had a daughter, Harriett Idell Galbreath. She married Leroy
Lawrence Anderson, and they begat me.

So, you can see my genealogy is fun as my ancestors' names changed every generation on
my mother's side--between her and the Pettus clan.
