This has to be a quick reply, as I am busy preparing to leave for England tomorrow. The short answer is no. The long answer is that I have an appendix on Col. William Pettus of Louisa and Spotsylvania counties and his children. I also have a thorough discussion of various conjectures regarding his ancestral line; however, to my knowledge, no one has found evidence that would stand up to scrutiny according to modern genealogical standards.
