Pettus Book Status

During May I finished editing all chapters and appendixes of my book on the Pettus family to bring the punctuation style up to current standards. In the process I noticed some places in the genealogical proof chapters (Part 2 of the book) that are not up to date with more recent research. I donít expect that these revisions will take much time to fix. I now have all the pictures I expect to receive from living Pettuses. Presently I am printing all the chapters in volume 1 to proofread. One of my correspondents sent me an aerial view of Rackheath Hall in Norfolk County, England, as it looks today. What impressed me is that one wall has the same semi-circular feature as the old hall had under Pettus ownership in the 17th C. Tonight, I will receive comments on my paper on the English Pettuses from the local family history writing group. I expect to resume indexing my book in the next few days.
