Early family historians cited a sketch and pedigree of the Pettus family of England by "Talloch" (1890). I know that the author was Thomas Ralph Tallack of Norwich, England. I believe he was one of the genealogists Dr. William Jerdone Pettus consulted when he was in England in 1890 (the other probably was Walter Rye, archivist of the Norfolk Record Office). I have searched both sides of the Atlantic for Tallack's sketch without success. I did find a pedigree chart at the Society of Genealogists in London in 1976 that he and P. Bierney Ficklin compiled, but even that has since disappeared according to a correspondent. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of either the sketch or the pedigree? I would like to consult them before completing my book.
