You are welcome and thanks for your encouragement. Even though William's land is now mostly covered by the lake, he probably lived on the high ground. Have you looked at a USGS map to see if there is a likely place? I have an old (pre-Lake Anna) USGS map of the area, which I can compare with a more recent one that has the lake. Perhaps I can figure out where William's home was located.
