Will of Henry Pew of Henrico Parish May 5 1709
Posted by: Linda McManus (ID *****9871) Date: August 30, 2002 at 10:17:28
  of 358

To grandson Abraham Childers, Jr., the land and plantation I live on
To grandsons Daniel Price, John Childers, and Joseph Adkins, to each 100 acres out of my tract at Four Mile Creek, and if any land left, this goes to my grandson Abraham Childers, Jr.
and this should be adjacent to what is already in his poss.
To grandaughter Jane Childers, seal skin trunk
To daughters Jane Price and Anne Adkins, 1 shilling each
All the rest to grandson Abraham Childers, Jr. and he to be executor
Wit: John Bolling, John Adkins, Kath. Babicum
Recorded 3 March 1711

.....Other research indicates that Jane Price and Anne Adkins are descendants of John Rolfe through his third marriage to Jane Pierce.
...Of course, John Bolling is a descendant of John Rolfe through his marriage to Pocahontas
....Kath. Babicum was married to John Milner. She was married to William Parker before Milner and after John Milner was murdered while on an expedition she married James Babbicum
.....I do not have any documentation, only what may be found on different websites, but it is said that John Milner, Sr. married Elizabeth Rolfe daughter of John and Jane Pierce, daughter of William Pierce of Mulberry Island, Va.
.....Henry Pew did not name all of his Childers grandchildren in his will.
I believe these people are all ancestors of William Adkins and Elizabeth Parker.
....If anyone has any conflicting information, I would love to be corrected. Linda
