Thank you Bill for the info in the Pugh line. Their marriage record shows Pew, I thought that might not be the right spelling. Her first name was spelled Phanny, so much for the spelling in Clay County.

Do you know the parents of Fanny Snelling?? Trying to connect these Snelling families of Illinois. Some of them went into MO early (1838) and it has been hard to 'document' what family these adult Snelling children belong to. Spelling is often written as Snellen, Snellin, Snellings.
