I am looking for any information on my GG Grandmother, Theresa Marie PUE. All of the information I have is this:
According to her 1900 and 1920 census answers, she was born in Alabama to parents who were both born there; she was born in Feb 1866 [my cousin give bd. as 10 Feb 1865.]

She was married, I am told, in Navarro County, TX to Elias Dickerson "Dixie" GRAY, 10 July 1883. In 1880 Dixie had been living in Grimes County, TX.

The only PUEs I find in Navarro (or any other county) born in AL are a "Winnie" aged 40 and "Fannie" aged 9. The index has Winnie as married, but there is no husband listed and her relationship is "other". I haven't found the image yet to see for myself.

Dixie and Theresa's 1900 census was as follows:
1900 Census, Hill County, TX, Pct 2, ED 40, sheet 7A&B, (p. 127, or 84?)
GRAY, Elias D., head, Sept 1862, M-16, TX, IL, MS, farmer
" Theresa M., wife, Feb 1866, 24, M-16, 7, 6, AL, AL, AL
" Birdie V. [Virginia], June 1884, 15, S, TX, TX, AL
" John W., son, Mar 1886, 14, S, TX, TX, AL
" Minnie L.[actually, Ben Lee, son !], dau, June 1888, 11, S, TX,TX, AL
" Arthur E., son,June 1891, 8, S, TX, TX, AL
" Horace F., son, May 1899, 1, S, TX, TX, AL
Note: Where was Bertha Louise? the 5th of Theresa's 6 surviving children?

I would appreciate any help anyone could give! Thanks!

~Carol
