Hi Excited to receive some new info. Josephus was my 2nd great grandfather. Samuel, his son was my lineage. With his daughter Laura Edna Pugh Elledge being my grandmother. I would like to have any info you have on Josephus and Frances. I had thought that Clarinda was the mother of the children. I do have a little info on Samuel and Wife Dicinda.
I had 1880 US Census Record showing Josephus Pugh est. birth 1814 (66), born VA, farmer, Home in 1880, Dayton,IA., Married to Clara E. Pugh(which I assumed was Clarinda).
Had found a Josephus N. Pugh in Civil War Union Soldiers (Roll of Honor)anxious to hear back from you.
