Searching for information on my gr-gr grandfather, Sampson Peugh, b. abt. 1824 in GA. Married Malinda McDonald in Cass Co., (now Bartow Co.)GA abt. 1848. Found Sampson and family in Cass Co., GA in 1850 and in Floyd Co., GA in 1860 census records, but nothing after that. Maybe he died in the Civil War. Children were Mary A.(1850); William Columbus (1853); Isaac Columbus (1855); Martha (1858); Archa (1862). Malinda listed in Bartow Co., GA in 1870, in Floyd Co., GA in 1880, listed as widow. If you have any information on this family, please contact me. Thanks.
