I have a Robert Pew in my family line who, although born in Ireland about 1813, is said to be of Scottish descent. He arrived in Trumbull Co, Ohio in 1825, married Almira Lovell before 1837, and they had 10 or 11 children. The family appears to have moved to Steuben Co, Indiana between the 1850 and 1860 Census periods.

I have not yet made any connection to the Pew family members you mentioned.

John Kirlin
