This is a bit of a reach and nine years after your post, but I was checking my dna results against information contained online and I am probably related to you or James Hervey Pew by a distant common father. If that is true than I would look into the Westmoreland PA Pews as there was a son James (don't know the middle name) born there around 1830. Of course since this family in Westmoreland PA most likely came from Wales it may be that they have a common relative with James from Wales but that could extend back many generations as the Westmoreland Pews probably immigrated in the early 1600s and the genetic similarity could date back 30 or 40 generations.
