My family of Peyre Ferry's were in Philadelphia, PA...I descend from Edward and Amelia Peyre Ferry through their daughter Kate. Anyways, your talk of Bolton had me thinking. I grew up in Levittown, PA. Before Levit came in and built the community, their were some old mansions in the neighborhood that are still there today. The one down the street from where I grew up was called "Bolton Mansion" The Bolton family built it a couple centuries ago. If you were to ride a horse and carriage from Philadelphia to Levittown I assume it would take about 25-30 minutes...so Im wondering if this is a clue to the Bolton that was married to Peyre Ferry..worth looking into. If you type Bolton Mansion in google, it might have some history of the family that lived there. I know they have their own webpage.
