I found in (http://www.familysearch.org) a Mary E. Bolton that was born in 1881. Parents of this Mary E. Bolton were May Bolton and James Bolton. May and James were both 20 years of age and Mary was 1 month in 1881. This was in Hanley, Stafford, England. James and May were boarders at the home of Ellis. Richard Ellis, his wife Mary Ellis, their two sons; John and Thomas and their daughter Harriet. James was a coal miner and May was a Potters Transferer. The house was at Bryan St. 4 Grove Cottages. This is listed in the Family History Library Film # 1341653, Public Records Office Reference RG11, Piece/Folio # 2725/31, Page 13. Richard Ellis was also a coal miner and Mary (his wife) was also a Potters Transferer. So I will continue to investigate this and see if James and May are Grandmother's parents. Hope this helps you some as well. Peace and Harmony...Violette
