Hi Jonathan, I am trying, slowly, to uneart my PFEFFER Family Tree. Obviously there are few Jewish Pfeffers like us out there, and spellings of the surname aren't relevant in history as most surnames varied in phonetic spelling on old documents. That said, I have my tree on both Geni. and My surname, Nemon, was at times spellled Neuman. In my history, Czarne Neuman (born 1874 in Lviv, Gologory-Region Ukraine) married Avvraham Pfeffer. Their immigration to Galicia & Vienna is probable, since most of the associated branches followed this pattern. Their certain offspring included Klara Jetka Pfeffer, born 1896, and Nuchim Pfeffer, born 1898. From, it appears they may have also had sisters named Choicze, Taube, & other siblings (possibly). I have no current info. on the generations that came after them, but I'm wondering if you have enough historical info. backwards to see if we have a link?
